Symposium on Ecclesiology and Ethnography

The Symposium marks the publication of Perspectives on Ecclesiology and Ethnography Edited by Pete Ward.  The book is the first volume in the new series Studies in Ecclesiology and Ethnography published by Eerdmans.

There will be short presentations from the authors and a panel discussion.  The symposium will explore the methodological ‘proposal’ that lies at the heart of the volume for a theologically orientated approach to qualitative research on the Christian Church.

At 4.45 there will be a reception to celebrate the publication of the book.

Speakers will include:  Pete Ward, Rick Osmer, John Swinton, Clare Watkins (tbc), Alister McGrath, and Paul Fiddes
